Essential Coil Well Service provides oilfield services to oil and natural gas producers, primarily in Western Canada. Essential offers completion, production and abandonment services to a diverse customer base. Services are offered with coiled tubing, fluid and nitrogen pumping. Essential offers one of the largest coiled tubing fleets in Canada.

Essential Coil Well Service, a division of Element Technical Services, is currently seeking a Heavy Duty Truck and Trailer Mechanic for our Grande Prairie location to specialize in CVIP inspections and repairs.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Perform CVIP inspections on heavy duty tractors and trailers
• Perform thorough preventative maintenance inspections to all company assets while complying with all safety, environmental and operational policies and procedures
• Diagnose defects and repair a wide variety of heavy-duty equipment
• Perform mechanical and electrical repairs on equipment in the shop

Qualifications:

• Journeyman Heavy Duty Technician (Red Seal preferred) but not required
• A valid CVIP license is needed or have the ability to apply for one
• Previous oilfield, coil tubing and pumping experience would be an asset
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with good driving record required
• Computer diagnostic experience
• Ability to work independently in a busy environment with shifting priorities
• Highly flexible with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment
• Clear and concise communication skills – both written and verbal
