JOURNEYMAN WELDER
$2,000 Signing Bonus!
Summary of Position
Has 3+ years of experience in the Oil and Gas Industry. Journeyman B
Pressure Welding Certificate. Able to fabricate, install, assemble and repair
components in the shop or in the field as required. Good communication skills. Work
with electrical technicians, mechanics, field employees and supervisors on
projects. Required to provide guidance and training to others within the
department.

Proficient knowledge of welding procedures –
steel & aluminum
·
Knowledge of Coil Tubing and Fracturing
equipment is considered an asset for this position
·
Self-motivated and have the initiative to fully
perform the duties of this position independently along with a strong sense of
urgency and the ability to prioritize issues
·
Valid Class 5 driver’s license and satisfactory
driving record
– Comfortable with fabrication, with or without drawings
Responsibilities
·
Perform welding repairs on FRAC and COIL TUBING
equipment, including repairs and maintenance on heavy equipment to maximize
safe and productive operations
·
Read and interpret schematics.
·
Maintain welding consumables
and supply stock levels and specify/re-order as necessary.
·
Document repairs via our work
order system in EBS. Help to maintain a safe and clean work environment for
yourself and co-workers.

Participate in safety meetings and provide
feedback on equipment modifications and specifications
Training
·
All safety course requirements, will be
provided at time of start

certificate of completion at the end of each course
